Frenzy Art : Day of the Dead Art : "Un Sueno" About My Day of the Dead Art

This is one of the new prints that I released on October 28th, 2007. It is called “Un Sueno”. It is based on a dream I had.

I had a dream that I was in a boat with a man in a red suit. Nice suit, very red. There was thunder and lightening. The man bound my legs together and my arms to my sides and through me over his shoulder into the ocean. There were sharks swimming about and they ate me and even though I knew I was physically dead I never lost consciousness. I felt my self become ocean. As the ocean waters evaporated I felt my self become sky. As the sky darkened and filled with clouds I felt my self become rain, as I rained down on the earth I felt my self become ground. As the ground fed nutrients to the tree I felt my self become air.

It’s the best dream I’ve ever had. Who says pizza before bed is a bad idea?
